Magic Presents: Open the Archive at Gnome Games Appleton East – $25

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Magic Presents: Open the Archive event!

On Wednesday, June 17th at 5 PM, compete in a special pick 2 Draft event with a fun Mystical Archive twist! Each player receives 3 Secrets of Strixhaven packs. When they open their first pack, they pick 2 cards and take the Mystical Archive card within the pack, then pass the cards around! Each player picks two cards until they run out, then open the next pack and pass cards in the opposite direction. This continues until all packs are open. Then play begins! In this unique event, there are only two rounds. Anyone that wins both of their matches (and remains undefeated) receives an exclusive Mystical Archive challenge coin! These come in blind boxes that contain one of five variations of the challenge coin.

Entry is $25. Each round won awards players with an additional Secrets of Strixhaven pack! Players must have a Wizards account. Don’t have one? Sign up here! This is our last event as we get ready for the release of the Marvel Superheroes set, out in prerelease at Gnome Games this Friday!

Magic Presents: It’s Turtle Time! at Gnome Games Green Bay East – $35

Cowabunga, dudes! It’s Turtle Time!

Join us at Gnome Games Green Bay East for a special Pick-Two Draft event featuring Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

April 11th at 1:00pm
$35.00 Entry

This unique Pick-Two draft features a TMNT-flavored twist to add some variety to Draft!

All players will be seated into a pod of four, and each player will receive three Play Booster packs of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Once cards are drafted and decks are built, players will play in two rounds to see who can go undefeated and win an exclusive promo card!

What is Pick-Two Draft?

The best way for four players to draft! Like a traditional booster draft, each player will start with three booster packs. In Pick-Two Draft, players always select two cards from each booster pack and then pass that booster pack to the next player. For the first booster pack, players pass the cards to their left. Once all players have selected all the cards from the first pack, they’ll open a second pack, continue selecting two cards at a time, and pass the pack to their right. After all those cards are drafted, players do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 42 cards, which they can use to build a 40-card deck, adding in any basic lands they need.

Disney Lorcana Draft

Disney LorcanaDisney Lorcana Drafts are now weekly at Gnome Games Green Bay East! Every Saturday at 11 a.m we’ll be drafting Disney Lorcana!

We’re playing 3 rounds of draft, and every round that you win your match, you win a pack! Matches are best 2 of 3 games within the 50 minute time limit.

All the packs drafted will be the newest set, Ursula’s Return! Drafting Disney Lorcana uses 4 booster packs for each player and requires at least 6 players.
