Aetherdrift Commander Party at Gnome Games Appleton East!
Come play through the story of Aetherdrift at Gnome Games Appleton East!
Players at this special event will be actually racing around in the Ghirapur Grand Prix! Players will place a token representing their racer on a track and move along as their game progresses! Unlocking bonuses and advancing towards victory as they lap other racers! We’ll be hosting 2 of these events, one on Friday February 21st and one on Friday March 14th! Both events go from 3-9pm.
On top of a fun and unique Commander Experience, players who buy in also get a special Rishkar’s Expertise Promo!

Aetherdrift Sunday Two-Headed Giant Prerelease Event at Gnome Games Appleton East!
Aetherdrift is a race, and Gnome Games Appleton East is hosting a Two-Headed Giant prerelease event this weekend! The Gnomes invite you to our Saturday Aetherdrift Prerelease event! The event is Saturday, February 8th at 2:00 pm.
The prerelease will be $80 for the team and each player will be given a prerelease kit of Aetherdrift. Out of kits plus basic land we provide, each player makes a 40 card minimum deck! After a 50 minute deck-building period, we’ll play 3 rounds! Each match is best of 1 game over a 50 minute time period. The team that wins the match will have each player win a pack of Aetherdrift!
Bring a new player to the event and both you and they will get a promo card for growing the game!
Start Your Engines mechanic: “The first time in a game you control a permanent with start your engines!, your speed becomes 1. This happens immediately, so no one can respond and try to remove the permanent before you pick up speed. Once your speed is 1 or greater, you can trigger an ability to increase your speed. That ability is “Whenever one or more opponents lose life during your turn, if your speed is less than 4, increase your speed by 1. This ability triggers only once each turn.” This ability isn’t tied to any permanent. For the rest of the game, it can be triggered as long as your speed is less than 4, no matter what permanents you control.”

The prerelease will be $40 and each player will be given a prerelease kit of Aetherdrift. Out of the kit plus basic land we provide, each player makes a 40 card minimum deck! After a 50 minute deck-building period, we’ll play 3 rounds! Each match is best of 3 game over a 50 minute time period. After 3 rounds of play, each player will get 2 packs of Aetherdrift!

Our Main Event will be a Sealed event! It will be $30 and each player will be given 6 packs of Aetherdrift. Out of the cards you get plus basic land we provide, each player makes a 40 card minimum deck! After a 50 minute deck-building period, we’ll play 3 rounds of Win-A-Match, Win-A-Pack! The packs being won are the new Play Boosters of Aetherdrift! Each match is best of 3 game over a 50 minute time period.
