Store Scrambles are a new Beginner friendly Competitive event for Universus! Players compete in a Standard Swiss 3 Round Tournament! Players get special promos just for participating and one lucky Winner gets the extra special Winner promo! Players also get a pack of their choice with entry!
Our Scramble is on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00pm! Registration opens up at 1:00pm and costs $5!

Magic: The Gathering: Spiderman is finally here at Gnome Games Appleton North!
Marvel’s famous web-head makes his debut in Magic: the Gathering with this all new set featuring iconic villains and spider-people from across the series!
Whether you’re an avid Spider-fan or you’re only familiar with the basics, this set features awesome artwork and fun cards for everyone! So swing on into Gnome Games and join us all weekend for a suite of amazing Spiderman themed events!

That’s right Magic: the Gathering Players, like all good things, so too must our suite of Spiderman x Magic: the Gathering events end. Join us for one last 3 round sealed tournament where all participants make a 40 card minimum deck out of their Prerelease Kits and earn booster packs for every round they win! Worry not if this is your first event, as we’d happily save the day with you all the same!

The….Commander Box League?
You heard it right Magic: the Gathering fans! This event has all participants buying a Play Booster Box of Spiderman Magic: the Gathering, and then constructing a 60 card miniature Commander deck out of only cards from the booster box. There are a few twists, the first is that the deck you build is not restricted to traditional singleton rules, and the second rule is that cards in your deck are not restricted to your Commander’s color identity! Join us and come up with some truly unique Spiderman decks on Monday September 22nd.

What’s a “Draft Prerelease”?
Draft is a Magic format where participants will make a 40 card minimum deck by opening a booster pack, selecting a card from it, and passing the rest as they receive cards from the player next to them. They repeat this process for 3 booster packs of cards, and then construct their decks. Once decks have been constructed it’s a 3 round best of 3 tournament where every round you win nets you another booster pack!
When: Friday September 19th at 6pm

Learn to Play Tacta with Gnome Games! Wednesday, August 27th at 6pm, one of the Gnomes will be helping players learn to play Tacta from The Op Games! 
This is a Free event! Seating is limited, but we’re looking to help introduce more players to great games every Wednesday during our Board Game night!
We’ll go over the basics of the game and then jump into playing the game with the Gnome community!
