Magic: The Gathering Edge of Eternities is finally here at Gnome Games Green Bay East!

Entry is A Box of Edge of Eternities
That’s right Magic players, with the prerelease of Edge of Eternities there’s also a new type of prerelease: the Commander Box League!
For this event all participants who’d like to participate buy a box of play boosters of Edge of Eternities and follow the deck building rules below!
Here are the basic rules you need to know:
- You’ll construct a 60-card deck out of the contents of a single Play Booster box and any number of basic lands.
- You can include anything you open inside your Play Booster box, but not any promos you receive. That means you can include the contents of any Box Topper packs but not things like Buy-a-Box promos.
- Your deck can include multiple copies of cards you open with the same name.
- You ignore the color identity rule in deck building. Play any legal commander you open, then fill your deck with cards of any color.
- The color identity of your commander(s) still applies to cards like Arcane Signet to explicitly refer to color identity.
- Games are played in pods of three to four players with normal Commander rules. You start at 40 life, track commander damage, and so on.

Commander Box League is a Sealed event in which players open a Play Booster box, build a 60-card Commander deck, and play in Commander Box League games throughout the Prerelease period. Games are played with normal Commander rules, but deck building follows modified rules for Commander Box League:
- Decks may include multiple copies of cards opened from the Play Booster.
- Any legal commander opened is allowed.
- Color identity rules in deck building are ignored; players may build decks with any colors they want, regardless of their commander’s color identity. Note: commander color identity still applies when cards refer to color identity (for example, with Arcane Signet).
Players may adjust their decks between games using cards from their Play Booster box.
Players who preorder or purchase a box during prerelease will get free entry into our event using their box! Proms are only available while supplies last.

Take to a brand new frontier of prerelease with our Commander Box League Prerelease!
That’s right Magic players, with the prerelease of Edge of Eternities there’s also a new type of prerelease: the Commander Box League! For this event all participants who’d like to participate buy a box of play boosters of Edge of Eternities and build a 60 card Commander deck from the cards they pull. There are, however, a few twists. The first is that you can run any number of a card that you get from our box, the second being that you can build with any acquired cards even if they don’t fit within your color identity! Players then duel against their opponents who did the same thing, modifying their decks between rounds as needed, to be the best in the galaxy!
This event is welcome to players of all experience levels, so boldly go where no Magic player has gone before with the debut of this awesome new prerelease event!

Partner up with a friend and take to the stars with our Edge of Eternities 2 Headed Giant Prerelease Event at Gnome Games Appleton North!
The next event we’ll be hosting this weekend is our 2 Headed Giant Edge of Eternities! Communicate with your teammate in ground control to successfully navigate a stellar sealed event where you’ll each make a 40 card deck out of your prerelease kits. You’ll then compete against other players to prove that your team is the greatest in this star system! Better still, each win you get earns you and your teammate a pack of this hot new set.
What do I need to know?
This prerelease event is a bit different from our other offerings as this is a team based event. Which means that you and your partner will build your decks out of 2 shared prerelease kits (the same 40 card minimum rule is applied), and gameplay will feature you taking your turns together as you untap, draw, and move to combat like 1 player! Each round you win will have you and your partner earning another booster pack of this hot new set!

What should I know before hand?
Our Main Event Prerelease is a 3 round tournament will receive a prerelease kit to build a 40 card minimum deck from. Whether it’s your first prerelease or your 50th, players of all skill levels are welcome to participate! Better yet, for each round you win you’ll earn yourself another booster pack of this hot new set!

Drift your way through space to our Draft Prerelease for Edge of Eternities!
That’s right, everyone! Magic’s newest set Edge of Eternities is truly an out of this world experience, and to celebrate we’re hosting prerelease events all weekend! Join us on Friday, July 25th for a Draft Prerelease of this cosmically cool set where players will build a 40 card deck out of cards they pick over the course of 3 booster packs! After this, they’ll play in a 3 round tournament where every match they win earns them another booster pack of this hot new set!
What do I need to know?
This is a draft style prerelease event which means that all players will receive 3 booster packs on entry. They then open one pack, select a card, and then pass the remaining cards to the left. This process continues until there are no cards left in the pack at which point a new pack is opened and the process is repeated going the other direction. After drafting their cards, players will build a 40 card deck and then play 3 rounds in a tournament where every match they win earns them another booster pack of this new set!
