Riftbound Unleashed Pre-Rift at Gnome Games Appleton East – $35

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Riftbound Unleashed Pre-Rift!

On May 2nd at 12 PM, compete in an exclusive pre-rift tournament for Unleashed! Gain early access to the newest set, releasing May 8th, by participating in one of our events! At a pre-rift event, players open a pre-rift kit, build up their decks with the contents within, and play in a 3 round Swiss style tournament using their decks. Each match won awards players with an additional Unleashed pack! Players have 50 minutes to build their decks before the tournament starts. Rounds are 50 minutes, best of 3.

We’re hosting two additional Pre-Rifts on Friday, May 1st and Wednesday, May 6th! Take a peek at our Appleton North Pre-Rifts on Sunday, May 3rd and Monday, May 4th as well!

What is Riftbound?

Riftbound is a collectable trading card game featuring a vast array of characters and locales from League of Legends. Choose a Legend and Chosen Champion card for your deck and battle it out between 2 to 4 players in various game modes! The most important card in your deck is your champion legend. This is the card you build your deck around—it determines your options for the chosen champion who starts faceup on the board and who you’ll send to fight for you, and it defines the domains (colors) of your deck’s cards.

Your legend and your chosen champion define your strategy. Maybe your plan is quick strikes, maybe it’s to build up an unstoppable huge army, or maybe it’s to use one incredibly powerful and mobile fighter. You’ll have additional units (and other champion units) to send to fight, spells to help them win, and even gear to empower your team.

This will be a Top Cut event with each round including Top Cut rounds being a best of 1 game match with a 30 minute time limit. Top Cut is based on player attendance.

Gundam Card Game – Demo Deck Event – Green Bay West

It’s time to learn how to play the Gundam Card Game with a Demo Deck! This Learn to Play event gives you a chance to learn how to play the game with the Gnomes and the Gundam community!

The event is on Sunday, April 19th at 1pm. Entry is $5+tax!

You’ll play with one of two different Gundam Demo decks at this event, giving you a chance to see how the game works and a number of different cards!

Magic the Gathering: Secrets of Strixhaven Casual Prerelease 101 at Gnome Games Appleton North!

Secrets of Strixhaven Casual Prerelease 101 is in session!

Uncover years of mysteries as you explore the hallowed halls of Strixhaven! All of the Strixhaven colleges are back with their own unique look, feel, and focus!

All participants will receive a Prerelease kit to build a 40-card minimum deck (we provide basic lands), then play in a 3-round best-of-3 tournament! All participants receive two extra packs of Secrets of Strixhaven for participating in our event!

There are five versions of the Prerelease Pack for Secrets of Strixhaven, each aligned with one of Strixhaven’s colleges: Silverquill, Prismari, Witherbloom, Lorehold, and Quandrix. Each includes a college themed seeded booster and a Spindown™ life counter!

It’s time to Du-Du-Du-Duel over at Gnome Games Green Bay West with the Blazing Dominion Premiere Weekend this May 1st-3rd!

Entry is $22.50 plus sales tax, and participants will receive 5 packs of Blazing Dominion and a Field Center Card celebrating the new set! Each participant will also be entered into a drawing for prizes including a Game Mat* and a Secret Rare Card*! *While supplies last

The Premiere Event will be held on Friday, May 1st, Saturday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 3rd, during regular business hours.
