Every Tuesday starting on September 30th and going through November 11th we’ll be hosting a special Draft event unique to the new Spiderman MTG Set! We’ll be running the Pick 2 Draft Format! Which is perfect for new players and smaller groups for a more streamlined experience! Unlike traditional eight-player drafts, Pick-Two Drafts allow each player to select two cards per pick, reducing the number of participants needed while maintaining strategic depth and fun! The winner each week will even get a special Winner Promo while supplies last!

On Tuesday September 30th we’ll be hosting a special event to introduce new players to Dungeons and Dragons! The new Starter Set: Heroes of the Borderlands is what we’ll be using to run One Shot Adventures for new players! Participants will be able to come in and playthrough a quick adventure to learn the basics of the game! Bring some friends or come in alone and get into your next hobby!

At Gnome Games Appleton North we’ll be running Premiere Events all weekend long from Friday Sept 19th through Sunday Sept 21st!
On Friday we’ll be hosting a Premiere Participation Event all day long from 10am to 8pm. On Saturday we’ll just have a Premiere Participation Event from 10am to 7pm, and A Premiere Tournament Event at 1pm! Lastly on Sunday we’ll be hosting another Premiere Participation Event from 12pm-5pm!
Premiere Tournaments are like Standard Weekly Events at Gnome, 3 Round Swiss Advanced Constructed Win-A-Match-Win-A-OTS-Pack, but you can add cards from Doom of Dimensions from your entry packs into your decks! Premiere Participation Events are for those who don’t have time to play or just want to collect the cards!
Entry for all events is $22.50, this gets you 5 Packs of Doom of Dimensions and a Field Center! All weekend long we’ll also be randomly giving away Doom of Dimensions Promo Playmats and Cards to players who participate in any of our Doom of Dimensions Events!

Calling all Pokémon Trainers! Test your trainer skills at our Weekly Pokémon Tournaments at Gnome Games Appleton North!
Every Wednesday at 4:30pm we’re hosting a Pokémon Tournament at Gnome Games Appleton North! Whether you’re a new trainer looking to start your Pokémon TCG journey, an experienced player trying a new deck, or a player looking to practice before a League Cup, this tournament is the perfect way to try out the Pokémon TCG’s Standard Format. Better yet, each round you win earns you a booster pack of Pokémon! So don’t wait, grab a deck and be the very best (like no one ever was) to start your Pokémon adventure today!
This event welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. Prize Packs will be given out to all participants at the start of round 1, with 3 more going out randomly to participants over the course of the event while supplies last.

With Standard format rotating soon, a reminder:
For in-person Play! Pokémon events, the Standard format rotation will go into effect on April 11, 2025.
Cards with the “F” regulation mark will no longer be legal for play in the 2025 Standard format. Cards with “G,” “H”, and “I” regulation marks will be legal to use (as will any future regulation marks that may be released). A card’s legality status is no longer based on which expansion it’s from. Even if a card is from a recently released expansion, players will need to refer to the regulation mark on the bottom of the card to see whether that card is legal for play. New cards still must follow the appropriate waiting period to become tournament legal, which is typically two weeks after their release. Moving forward, players should expect cards with the oldest legal regulation mark to rotate out of the Standard format when a new one is introduced.
