Starting at 6pm, we are hosting Lorwyn Eclipsed themed Commander Party! Each table will have unique rules exclusive to the set that players can choose to play with. They offer fun new ways to play Magic that cater to the theme of Lorwyn Eclipsed! Travel back and forth between Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, gaining unique abilities depending on which aspect you are currently in! Anyone that enters receives an exclusive Farhaven Elf promo card. *while supplies last*
The commander party starts at 6 PM and goes until 9PM! Enjoy food, drink, entertainment, and ambience provided by Lumberjack Johnny’s!
What do I need to know prior to the event?
A commander deck is required to play games at the table, and a Wizards account through EventLink is required to enter. Don’t have an account? Sign up for one here! Our entry fee is $5 of Magic-related product. If you can convince us it’s for Magic, you’re good to go!

We showed off a handful of cards from the set at New York Comic Con, which featured cards from the main set and its Commander deck. Now, we’re taking these reveals beyond New York City (and its sewers) and straight to you. Cowabunga!
For a prerelease event, each player will get a Prerelease Kit themed after TMNT. Players will then craft a deck out of the 6 packs contained within the kit. Then it’s time to play! Battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament. All players will receive booster packs at the end just for playing.

When you register for a Prerelease event, you’ll receive one Prerelease Kit. Which contains 6 packs for you to create a 40 card deck with.
2-Headed Giant is a format where two players team up to face off in 2v2 matches. Each team takes turns rather than each player.
Our 2HG prerelease is our classic Sealed event. 3 Rounds of Swiss Win-A-Match-Win-A-Pack! We have a limited amount of seats so make sure to preregister!

Our Magic Standard Showdown event is a constructed tournament where players compete in 1 on 1 matches for packs and exclusive promotional cards. These change with every set! This is a more competitive event, so decks are required to be standard legal according to Wizard of the Coast’s legality rulings.

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Party!
On Friday, January 30th from 3 PM to close we’re hosting our first Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander Party! Shift between the planes of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor as you play in Commander games with your own decks! Lorwyn Eclipsed cards are not required, so play as you like! Materials are set up at each table giving guidance on how to play with these exclusive event rules to spice up gameplay. Just for attending, players receive a Farhaven Elf promotional card!

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Magic the Gathering Lorwyn Eclipsed Last Chance Prerelease!
Last chance for our Lorwyn Eclipsed Prereleases! On January 21st at 5 PM we’re launching straight into 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament. Before the tournament, however, is deck building! Players have 50 minutes to open up a prerelease kit and build a 40 card deck to play with through the tournament! Then it’s time for 50 minute rounds, best of 3, where each round won awards you with a Lorwyn Eclipsed pack! Don’t get a pack by the end? We’ll have one for you just for participating!
Players will need a Wizards account to enter into the event. This can be done via the Companion App or with the check-in staff. Entry is $45.
What is Lorwyn Eclipsed?
Lorwyn Eclipsed is the next Universes Within set for Magic the Gathering! Return to the plane of Lorwyn for the first time since 2008. Cross the boundry into the eternal day of Lorwyn, where the many creatures live in order and harmony under the watchful eye of their sun god Eirdu—while the twilight god Isilu resides across the border where day becomes night. Brave the twisted landscape and wild Magic of Shadowmoor, a world cast in forever night and filled with creatures of a more chaotic ilk.
