Wrath of Fire Mountain (designed by industry veterans Phil Walker-Harding and Eric Lang, published by Gamewright) is a tactical family-friendly strategy game set in a primordial world where humans and dinosaurs interact. The primary gameplay objective centers on area majority and territory dominance: players send their tribespeople out to explore fertile lands, hatch dinosaurs for unique special abilities, and vie for control of the central volcano.

The primary mechanical highlight is the ever-shifting tile mechanism controlled by the volcano, allowing players who gain control of the mountain to literally shift map tiles and disrupt their opponents' plans. Designed for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up (with some boxes rating 10+), sessions play out in about 30 to 45 minutes. To lead your tribe to victory, you must balance board expansion with dinosaur powers and outmaneuver the shifting terrain.
