UNO Dare! (published by Mattel) injects high-energy party antics and push-your-luck choices into the traditional color- and number-matching card game. Moving away from standard card draw penalties, this edition replaces familiar Draw Two and Wild Draw Four cards with specialized "Dare" cards. The primary gameplay objective remains tied to classic UNO roots: players race to shed their cards by matching color, number, or action symbol to the top card of the discard pile, striving to be the first player to empty their hand while remembering to shout "UNO!" when down to a single card.

The primary mechanical hurdle stems from the choice given to players targeted by action cards: either draw the penalty cards or attempt a goofy, physical, or vocal stunt. Each Dare card is numbered and directs players to one of several category lists—such as Family, Show-Off, or Daredevil—featuring actions like dancing like a chicken, balancing objects on your head, or speaking in a bizarre accent until your next turn. Players can even customize empty dare slots to tailor challenges to their specific group. Successfully pulling off the stunt lets you skip drawing penalty cards, while chickening out or failing means facing an even heavier draw penalty. Designed for 2 to 10 players aged 7 and up, a standard game takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes. To win, you must manage your hand, spot matching opportunities, and decide when to swallow your pride and take on the dare.
