On Friday, September 4th from 3 to 9 PM, participate in a special event for the newest Magic the Gathering set, The Hobbit! Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain, a commander style event where players fight for control of the legendary Arkenstone! At each table, the first player to deal combat damage to another player gains control of the Arkenstone first, and gains its benefits. Other players claim ownership of the Arkenstone when they deal combat damage to the current owner, gaining their own bonuses while in possession of it. Each turn that a player controls the Arkenstone, they increase their ownership count. When a player reaches 3 ownership, they win the game!

Each player that attends receives a special An Unexpected Party promotional card! Entry is $5 of Magic-related product. A pack, card sleeves, deck box, you name it! If you can convince us it's Magic the Gathering, you're in!

Players must register with a Wizards of the Coast account to qualify for promos. Apply for the event ahead of time on the Magic Companion app using the following code: M7N65MQ
