Draw one card and play one card, using the royal court's unique abilities to protect your own letter and eliminate rival suitors before the round ends.
Love Letter (designed by Seiji Kanai and published by Z-Man Games) is a globally acclaimed micro-card game of risk, deduction, and luck. The primary gameplay objective is elegantly simple: be the last player standing in the round, or hold the highest-value character card when the deck runs out, to successfully deliver your romantic missive to the Princess.
The primary mechanical highlight is its ultra-lean 21-card hand-management and elimination loop: players hold a single card, draw a second on their turn, and choose one to play, leveraging characters like the Guard (to guess opponents' cards), the Priest (to inspect hands), or the new Chancellor and Spy roles. Designed for 2 to 6 players aged 10 and up, lightning-fast rounds play out in about 20 minutes. To claim victory, you must bluff your way through tight spots and deduce what your rivals are holding.
