Genius Connection is a fast-paced, brain-flexing strategy race that expands SmartGames’ highly popular Genius series (the same family that brought you The Genius Square and The Genius Star). Moving away from standard open-market drafting or turn-based spatial placement, this title forces two players to simultaneously race against each other on private grid boards. The ultimate objective is a frantic test of cognitive speed: you must build a continuous, physical route between two randomly designated coordinates before your opponent can complete theirs.

The primary hurdle lies in the dual-sided component efficiency puzzle. Every round begins with a roll of the black and white coordinate dice, dictating exactly where players must lock in their two yellow start-and-end point pieces. Using a set of double-sided tiles featuring 3D plastic pathways on one face and blank, empty spaces on the other, players have to adapt on the fly. To win, you must lay down a flawless path connecting the yellow markers, while simultaneously flipping your remaining unused tiles over to their blank sides to completely fill out the rest of the board grid. It is a masterclass in elegant, high-speed spatial design, offering 576 card-based progressive challenges alongside endless randomized dice modes that wrap up in under 5 minutes per round.
