G.I. Joe Deckbuilding Game Core Set

Fall in with America's daring and highly trained special mission force, recruit iconic veterans, requisition heavy gear, and deploy legendary vehicles to thwart Cobra's nefarious plots.

G.I. JOE Deck-Building Game Core Set (published by Renegade Game Studios) translates the beloved 1980s military franchise into a deep, strategic tabletop campaign experience. Operating as a fully cooperative game, players join forces to lead teams of elite G.I. JOE soldiers through increasingly hazardous global operations. The primary gameplay objective centers on card-driven engine building, roster recruitment, and mission success: players start with a basic starter deck and gradually expand their capabilities by drafting veteran heroes, equipping specialized gear, and fielding iconic vehicles to overcome escalating Cobra threats.

The primary mechanical hurdle stems from managing team deployment and surviving escalating mission hazards while coordinating your hand efficiently across turns. As players tackle operations, they must balance short-term combat requirements with long-term deck optimization, ensuring their squad has the right mix of firepower, tech, and reconnaissance. Designed for 1 to 4 players aged 13 and up, a complete tactical operation runs in about 30 to 70 minutes. To save the world and foil Cobra Commander once and for all, you must work closely with your fellow commanders, manage your resources, and deploy your strike teams with precision.
