Dixit - Disney Edition

Step into the magical world of Disney and Pixar, craft clever clues based on enchanting dreamlike cards, and outsmart your friends in a game of subtle deduction.

Dixit: Disney Edition (published by Libellud / Asmodee) merges the award-winning modern classic party game with the beloved characters and timeless stories of the Disney universe. Spanning animated classics from Steamboat Willie and Snow White all the way to Turning Red, the game retains the core rules of the original while wrapping everything in enchanting magical presentation. The primary gameplay objective centers on creative storytelling, subtle clue-giving, and secret voting: each round, one player acts as the storyteller, offering a cryptic word, phrase, or sound inspired by one of their cards, while everyone else submits a matching card from their hand to be shuffled and secretly voted on.

The primary mechanical hurdle stems from striking the delicate balance of clue difficulty. If your clue is too obvious, every player guesses your card instantly and you score zero; if it is too obscure, no one guesses it and you also score zero, making nuance and psychological framing essential. This Disney-themed standalone edition features upgraded components, including custom voting dials and adorable wooden character meeples. Designed for 3 to 6 players aged 8 and up, a magical storytelling session plays out in a breezy 30 minutes. To claim victory as the master storyteller, you must read your audience, match the whimsy of the cards, and weave tales that are clever without being blindingly obvious.
