Clue: Clueless Edition (published by The Op Games / USAOPOLY under license from Hasbro and Paramount Pictures, Item #CL082-949) swaps out the gloomy halls of Tudor Mansion and murder weapons for upscale Beverly Hills mansions and high-fashion emergencies. Cher is hosting a house party, but disaster strikes: an essential fashion piece has been taken from her wardrobe, and a malfunction in her famous Virtual Closet computer leaves her completely in the dark about what went missing. The primary gameplay objective centers on classic deductive elimination: players move across Cher’s mansion to deduce WHO raided the closet, WHAT item of clothing was taken, and WHERE they stashed it before anyone leaves the party.

The primary mechanical hurdle stems from balancing spatial board navigation against sharp information gathering. Players roll dice to travel between thematic locations (such as Cher’s Bedroom, the Kitchen, the Sunroom, and her Dad’s Office). Upon entering a room, a player makes a suggestion implicating a suspect (like Dionne, Tai, Murray, Christian, Travis, or Josh), a fashion item (such as Cher’s yellow plaid blazer, beret, platform shoes, or feather boa), and the current location. Rivals must secretly disprove the rumor by revealing a matching card. Intrigue cards and asymmetric character personality cards introduce unique perks, disruptions, and tactical shortcuts, keeping the deduction lively. Once a player believes they have cracked the fashion faux pas, they make a final accusation at the confidential envelope; if correct, they save the party and win the game. Designed for 2 to 6 players aged 8 and up, a complete investigation runs about 45 to 60 minutes. To walk away victorious, you must take meticulous notes, see through your rivals' bluffs, and make sure nobody commits the ultimate style crime.
