Race to shed your hand of cards by legally playing sequential numbers, tossing cards into your lap, or sliding them off the table while dodging the watchful Guard Bug.
Cheating Moth (published by Devir / various international localization partners) is a notoriously cheeky, fast-paced family card game. The primary gameplay objective is simple: be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. However, certain cards—specifically the titular Cheating Moths—are strictly forbidden from being discarded through normal play, forcing you to covertly make them disappear.
The primary mechanical highlight is its wink-and-nod authorized cheating meta: players can drop cards on the floor, tuck them under sleeves, or hide them against furniture, as long as they follow the golden rules of cheating (hands must remain above the table, only one card can be vanished at a time, and your absolute last card can never be cheated away). Meanwhile, one player acts as the Guard Bug, barred from cheating themselves while actively scanning the table to catch sneaky opponents. Designed for 3 to 5 players aged 7 and up, hilarious rounds play out in about 15 to 25 minutes.
