The core objective is a test of geometric foresight: players take turns placing wooden cat tokens onto a grid, attempting to align three of their felines in a row while dealing with the reality that every single placement dynamically alters the positioning of nearby pieces.

The primary hurdle lies in surviving the constant chain reaction of spatial displacement, locally known as "booping." The moment you drop a tiny wooden kitten onto one of the quilted squares, it emits a physical force field that instantly pushes every adjacent piece (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) one space away. If a piece is pushed past the outer edge, it falls right off the mattress and slides back into its owner's supply pool. To win, players must navigate a two-phase evolution loop: lining up three tiny kittens removes them from the board to "graduate" them into chunky, adult wood cats. Adult cats are heavy enough that they completely ignore the boops of small kittens—though they can still be pushed around by rival adult cats.
