Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our One Piece Saturday Tournament [Pilot Version]!

One Piece Saturday Tournaments [Pilot Version] are a new test event designed for casual players that we will be running every Saturday in October. In a new format referred to as Deck Limited, participants are required to play decks that do NOT include the top 10 Leader cards seen in tournament play. We will run the event similarly to our weekly events. In this event, however, participants get a pack on entry, as well as a pack per round win! At the end of the Tournament, all participants will receive a Gold Don!! promotional card! The event will run for 3 rounds at 30 minutes each. Entry is $15.

What do I need in order to participate?

You will need a One Piece Card Game Deck and an account to use on BANDAI TCG+ mobile app or website. Registration before the event is strongly encouraged. Since this event will be Deck Limited, there are 10 Leader cards that cannot be used in decks. These cards are:

Should I bring new players or come as a new player myself?
Yes! New players should be able to play with any starter deck! The community of One Piece players has been great at celebrating new players joining the game.

Friday Night Commander Pods at Gnome Games Appleton East – $5

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for Friday Night Commander Pods!

Every Friday we run three rounds of Commander Pods, where we pair players in groups of up to 4 to face off against each other. Each round has its own individual sets of promotional prizes, too!

What is Commander, and what are pods?

Commander is a Format in Magic where players choose a Legendary Creature to be their Commander, then build a 100 card deck around that Commander. “Pods” is the term used to describe a group of players playing together! Pods can be as large or as small as you’d like, but generally don’t go above 4 to 5 people.

How do I start playing Commander?

The best way to get started is by picking up a Preconstructed Commander deck! They come with 1 ready to play 100 card deck, a cardboard deck box, tokens, and in some cases a 2 card Collector Sample Pack. If you’re too nervous to come to an event where players already know how to play, try out our Learn to Play Magic the Gathering Events!

What do I need to participate?

To participate, you will need a Commander deck and a Wizards account through EventLink. If you don’t have an account, you can register here.

Our entry fee is $5 of Magic-related product. If you can convince us it’s for Magic, you’re good to go!
