Dust off your sleuthing skills and sharpen your spellcasting focus, for Gnome Games invites you to an event unlike any other: Murder at the Gnome Games: a Magic: the Gathering Prerelease like no other, shrouded in the chilling mystery of Murder at Karlov Manor Prereleases that only you can solve!

Prepare to step into the vibrant world of mystery at your favorite Gnome Games store, as it is transformed into a scene of intrigue and suspense. A beloved figure has fallen, and sinister whispers hang heavy in the air. Could it be the charismatic, competitive Barnaby “Mana Burn” Bolt, forever vying for supremacy? Or perhaps the gentle Lyra “Land Whisperer” Willowbrook, championing environmental awareness? Every Planeswalker amongst us becomes a suspect, and every card cast holds a clue.

For one event at each store only, Gnome Games transforms into a stage for murder and mayhem. You are no longer just patrons seeking prereleases and preordained packs. You are investigators, thrust into a tangled web of deceit and suspicion.

Our entry for this event is the purchase of two Jumpstart Booster Packs! Otherwise, no experience needed. This event aims solely to teaching you how to play Magic the Gathering!

Magic the Gathering: Avatar Commander Party – Green Bay West

Monday, January 12th at 6pm we invite players to play together with the Avatar Commander Party set of rules!

Each player who joins in will get a promo Gran-Gran! (While supplies last.)

GAMEPLAY: The play aid has four sections, one for each of the four bending elements. At the beginning of the first player’s third turn, each player puts their
marker on the element closest to them. Whenever a player meets the conditions on their element, they master that element and advance their marker clockwise to the next element. If a player would master an element they already mastered this game, they enter the avatar state instead.

“This format is for four players per game and deck sizes are 99 cards + 1 commander card. The game duration for this format should be about 20 minutes per player.

The Commander format is all about picking your hero and building a deck around them. Players are only allowed one of each card in their deck, with the exception of basic lands, but they can use cards from throughout Magic’s history.”

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Digimon Advanced Deck -Amethyst Mandala- Release Event!

Celebrate the return of Digimon Advanced Decks with the release of Amethyst Mandala [ST-22]! Sakuyamon receives its own Digimon ACE card alongside new cards for Renamon, Kyubimon, and Taomon. Be amongst the first to access this deck and the accessories that come with it! Play in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament with others to find out how the deck works! Each participant receives a Welcome Tamers Pack.

Entry to the event is the purchase of a deck, which is $40 + tax. Players must register ahead of time on the Bandai TCG+ app.

What is the Digimon Card Game?

The Digimon Card Game is a competitive trading card game. Each player has a companion Digimon in the battle area to attack the opponent. Your Digimon evolves, gets stronger, and gains new power! You win by beating your opponent’s security (reducing your opponent’s Security Area cards to zero) and delivering a knockout blow!

Digimon offers preconstructed card decks for launching right into the game! Further buying booster packs can help strengthen those decks, and with time you can learn to even make your own from scratch!
