Magic: The Gathering: Spiderman is finally here at Gnome Games Green Bay East!

Entry is A Box of Magic the Gathering: Spiderman
That’s right Magic players, with the prerelease of Magic the Gathering: Spiderman there’s also a new type of prerelease: the Commander Box League!
For this event all participants who’d like to participate buy a box of play boosters of Magic the Gathering: Spiderman and follow the deck building rules below!
Here are the basic rules you need to know:
- You’ll construct a 60-card deck out of the contents of a single Play Booster box and any number of basic lands.
- You can include anything you open inside your Play Booster box, but not any promos you receive. That means you can include the contents of any Box Topper packs but not things like Buy-a-Box promos.
- Your deck can include multiple copies of cards you open with the same name.
- You ignore the color identity rule in deck building. Play any legal commander you open, then fill your deck with cards of any color.
- The color identity of your commander(s) still applies to cards like Arcane Signet to explicitly refer to color identity.
- Games are played in pods of three to four players with normal Commander rules. You start at 40 life, track commander damage, and so on.

This is a sealed event, with Win-A-Match, Win-A-Pack prizing! Bring a Leader to play (Or one can be provided.) Players receive 6 packs of the new OP 12 set and build a 40-card deck! Players will also have a 10-card Don deck. There are no banned or restricted cards, and players can include as many copies of cards with the same card number as they like (for sealed format, there is no 4-card limit; you can play with anything that you open). Any cards left over from deck construction are treated as sideboard cards.
Rounds: Best of 1 Games, 30 minute Swiss-style matches.
For participating, players will receive a “OP-12 Pre-Release Pack” and will also receive a special Promo Card!

That’s right friends, we here at Gnome Games Appleton will be hosting one last prerelease for those looking to claim their space in the Final Frontier! Join us on Thursday, July 31st for our very special last chance prerelease at Gnome Games Appleton North! Players will build a 40 Card deck out of their prerelease kit and then compete against one another in a 3 round tournament where every round they win earns them another booster pack of this hot new set!
What should I know before takeoff?
This prerelease will have contestants building a 40 card minimum deck out of their prerelease kit before competing against their opponents in a 3 round best of 3 tournament. Players will earn additional booster packs for each round that they emerge victorious! Players of all skill levels are welcome to join and have fun!

After that we’ll play 3 rounds of Swiss Win-A-Match-Win-A-Pack where every round you win gets you a new pack of the set! Participants on entry will also get a unique Leo’s Katana Promo card, only available at prerelease!
