It’s time for Standard Showdown at Gnome Games! Magic the Gathering’s Standard is back! Sundays at 1:00pm we’re playing 3 rounds of Standard at Gnome Games Appleton East!
Each round is Win-A-Match, Win-A-Pack! Sideboards are legal. Best 2 of 3 matches in 45 minute rounds.

Looking to try wargames but Warhammer 40K seems a little too daunting? Try Killteam!
Killteam is a Skirmish game in the 41st Millennium! Players instead of commanding armies control squads of elite operatives! Command your squad to complete critical missions against near impossible odds! Each model on your team has unique rules and can turn the tide of each fight! Killteam prides itself on being an incredibly tactical, tense game, keeping players invested to the very end of each match!
Every Saturday at Noon we’ll be hosting Killteam for players to come in and play! We’ve got tables, Terrain, boards, dice, and even Models for those looking to try before they buy!

Fabled releases September 5th but we get to have a sneak peek at the new set! All weekend long we’ll be hosting Prerelease events, starting with a Sealed Event! Players buy in and get 6 packs of the new set to build a 40 card deck with! Then we’ll play 3 Rounds of Swiss where every round you win you’ll get another pack of the newest set! Come get some of the newest set early at Gnome Games!
We’ll be hosting a Sealed Prerelease event on Friday August 29th at 6:00pm. Entry is $50*

May Pokémon League TCG Challenge – Appleton East
Join the Gnomes for a Pokémon Tournament Saturday, August30th at Gnome Game Appleton East!
League Challenge
Registration opens at 11:30pm and begins at 12:00pm

League Challenge Entry:
Juniors (Age 10 & Under) $5
Seniors (11 – 14) $5
Masters $10
This will be a Swiss Rounds only event with each rounds being a best of 1 game match with a 30 minute time limit.
Win a Match Win a Booster, with Promo Packs going out to all players after Round 1.

Edge of Eternites Commander Party at Gnome Games Appleton East!
Secure the planets of Eternity in this extra special Commander Party Game mode! Play Commander with these extra Game rules:
- Alternate win condition: At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control all five worlds, you win the game.
- At the beginning of your end step, if one or more opponents lost 3 or more life this turn, gain control of an unclaimed world or a world controlled by one of those opponents.
- Whenever you cast your commander, you get an orbit counter.
- 3, pay an orbit counter: choose left or right. Each player passes control of a world they control to the next player in the chosen direction. Activate only as a sorcery.
Each world card also grants a triggered ability whenever a player gains control of it and at the beginning of their upkeep while it is in their control in their command zone.
On top of a fun and unique Commander Experience, players who buy in also get a special Pallidium Myr while supplies last!
