The Role

We’re seeking a part-time Marketing & Event Coordinator to join our growing team. You’ll play a vital role in spreading the word about Gnome Games, creating a vibrant in-store experience, and building strong relationships within our local communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Maven:
    • Develop engaging in-store advertising campaigns using social media, email marketing, and internal print materials.
      • Craft compelling marketing materials for local radio, TV, and online store shipping.
      • Stay on top of industry trends and implement innovative marketing strategies to expand our reach.
  • Event Execution:
    • Organize and execute exciting in-store and community events (game nights, tournaments, outreach and marketing events).
    • Represent Gnome Games at local events, spreading our brand enthusiasm and connecting with the community.
    • Manage event logistics, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all attendees.
  • Community Champion:
    • Develop outreach marketing materials to connect with local families, schools, and game clubs.
    • Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to expand our reach and collaboration opportunities.

Hours and Expectations

The Marketing and Community Event position is primarily in Green Bay, WI. Some paid travel is expected for this position.

Weekly expected hours are from 20 – 28 hours a week, with potential for full time employment for exemplary candidates based on performance and impact on our company.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, digitally, and on paper is critical to success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Gnome Games offers uniforms, employee discount, matched 401K, earned paid vacation. Competitive wages are based upon experience ranging $12 – $15 / hour initially for part time, with increases based on performance, specialty skill development, organizational impact and level of responsibility.
