Betrayal at House on the Hill quickly builds suspense and excitement as players explore a haunted mansion of their own design, encountering spirits and frightening omens that foretell their fate. With an estimated one hour playing time, Betrayal at House on the Hill is ideal for parties, family gatherings or casual fun with friends.
Betrayal at House on the Hill is a tile game that allows players to build their own haunted house room by room, tile by tile, creating a new thrilling game board every time. The game is designed for three to six people, each of whom plays one of six possible characters.
Secretly, one of the characters betrays the rest of the party, and the innocent members of the party must defeat the traitor in their midst before it’s too late! Betrayal at House on the Hill will appeal to any game player who enjoys a fun, suspenseful, and strategic game.
Welcome to the haunted manor of Mysterium!
In the 1920’s, Mr. MacDowell, a gifted astrologist, entered in his new house when he immediately detected a supernatural being. Gathering eminent mediums of his time for an extraordinary seance, they will have 7 hours to contact the ghost and investigate to unlock an old mystery…
Unable to talk, the amnesic ghost will communicate with the mediums through visions (illustrated cards). They will have to decipher the images to help the ghost remember how he was murdered (who? where? which weapon?). The more they cooperate and guess well, the easier it will be to the catch the right culprit.
This party game was one of the most anticipated games of 2015, thanks to innovative, thrilling and immersive features. It offers cooperation and investigation with an asymmetrical gameplay. While playing the ghost or a medium, you will have fun trying to guess what other players have in their minds!
So enter in this strange manor and let yourself be led by your intuition!
Zombie Dice, Dead Panic, Zombicide, Dead of Winter, Eldritch Horror, Arkham Horror and many others!
Awaiting you inside the complex of Green Bay Fear Haunted Attractions are a selection of horrors plucked straight from your nightmares. Equilibrium-bending frights waiting to pluck at your dreams, with our spirits just anticipating your delicious screams.
From our Haunted Midway, you can choose your own haunted adventure – will you stroll through the Twisted Trail, visit Mr. Jingles’ Funhouse, or head straight into the ruins of Jaden West’s wicked Shawano Manor? The choice is yours.
Once you make it out alive (hopefully), you will enjoy our many amenities, from our Odditorium, featuring artifacts of oddities including the Egyptian Mummified Cat and the shrunken head of an unfortunate adventurer. Cozy up by the fire and take in some live music, or a sideshow at our Freakshow center stage. Perhaps you’ll find yourself hungry for a bite to eat? Grab a snack from our food vendors and take a gander at the Voodoo Hoodoo gift shop.
We can’t wait to see you scared!
In the 1800’s, lumber tycoon Jaden West erected his masterpiece mansion along the northern shores of Shawano Lake. Shawano Manor, as the legend goes, had all of the amenities that only a select few could afford at the time. In the fall of 1894, West’s mutilated remains were found by his faithful servant, Mr. Adraniam Roscoe, and the legend says the death was at the hands of jealous sawmill workers. Rumor had it that the workers were unhappy with West’s spoils at their hard work. While accusations flew and suspects were plentiful, no arrests were ever made.
Following his death, the local constable acquired the estate. The first night, his jet black hair shocked ghost white, and seemingly immediately, he went stark raving mad. Sanitarium records claim he carried on about spirits in the Manor, and no therapy nor treatment could dissuade those delusions. From that point on, strange rumors continue to fly about what actually happened that night, and the once decadent mansion fell into disrepair while the urban legend continued to flourish, and the spirits continued to rule the Manor.
In the year 2000, Shawano Manor was set to be demolished by the state of Wisconsin. We were able to work with the salvage company to restore what remained of the mansion, and relocate it to the corner of Taylor and Bond Streets, where it stands today.
