On Friday, February 13th at 5 PM we’re hosting a Newtype Challenge 2026 Mission for the Gundam Card Game! Kick off 2026 with the first Newtype Challenge of the year! Aimed at our more competitive crowd, the Newtype Challenge is a Swiss style with rounds based on attendance. At most, we will have 5 rounds. Each round is 30 minutes, best of one, then launches right into Top Cut! Top Cut rounds will go up to 60 minutes, best of 3. Each participant will receive a GD03-118 Awakened Potential, the Top 4 will receive a ST04-010 Kira Yamato, and the grand Winner will receive a GD01-065 Freedom Gundam!
Players must register ahead of time on Bandai TCG+. Entry is $15. Players are expected to know the rules of the Gundam Card Game and have a tournament legal deck.

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our UniVersus -Guilty Gear: Strive- Local Championship!
On Sunday, February 8th at 1 PM we’re hosting a Guilty Gear: Strive Local Championship! This will be a Swiss style tournament with rounds based on attendance. At most there will be 4 rounds, with a Top 4 top cut. Round times are 60 minutes best of 3, and Top Cut is 90 minutes, first to lose 2 rounds loses. A Local Championship is a higher level competitive tournament, and comes with proper rewards for the challenge! All participants will receive a participation promo, the top 8 receive a promo card, top 4 receive a promo card, 2nd place receives a promo card, and the grand winner receives a Winner promo card and a Local Championship playmat!
Players must register ahead of time on the UniVersus Gaming Network website. Entry is $20. Players are expected to be well versed in the rules for UniVersus play and have tournament legal decks.

Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Union Arena Rare Battle Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Vol. 2!
On Saturday, February 7th at 2 PM we’re hosting a Union Arena Rare Battle for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Vol. 2! Using decks specifically themed around Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, players will battle in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament. There are exclusive promos for participation, top 4, and the grand Winner, so bring your best decks. Rounds are 30 minutes, best of 1. Each round won awards players with an additional pack of Demon Slayer Vol. 2!
Players must register ahead of time on Bandai TCG+. Entry is $15. Player’s decks must be themed around Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
What is Union Arena?
UNION ARENA is a “Common Rules Trading Card Game”, which means players only need to learn 1 set of rules to play this card game using characters from series they love. In UNION ARENA you can find many popular characters from various series on the cards! Make a deck with characters from your favorite series and enjoy battles that even cross series! Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Gundam Card Game Steel Requiem [GD03] Release Event!
On Saturday, February 7th at 2 PM we’re hosting a release event for Steel Requiem [GD03]! Open up 4 packs, build a deck, and play in a 3 round Swiss style Tournament! Players will have 30 minutes to build their deck, then we’ll launch straight into the tournament! Each round is 30 minutes, best of one, and each round won awards players with an additional Steel Requiem pack! Each participant will receive a set of GD03-020 Zaku II FZ ＆ GD03-089 Bernard Wiseman, and the winner will receive an additional set! The top 8 participants will receive a ST05-010 Mikazuki Augus with artwork newly illustrated by Toyotaro!
Players must register ahead of time on Bandai TCG+. Entry is $30.

On Friday, February 6th at 5 PM and Saturday, February 7th at 3 PM we’re hosting Spiritforged Pre-Rift Events! A Pre-Rift event is an exclusive chance to open packs of the newest set a week before it comes out! Open up a Pre-Rift kit, which contains 5 booster packs, a mini 15-card deck, and a promo card, then build a deck. Afterwards, we’ll launch into a 3 round Swiss style tournament where each round won awards you with a Spiritforged pack! Players will have 45 minutes to build a deck, after which we’ll launch into 30 minute rounds, best of one.
Players must register ahead of time on the Riftbound event locator. Entry is $35.
What is Riftbound?
Riftbound is a collectable trading card game featuring a vast array of characters and locales from League of Legends. Choose a Legend and Chosen Champion card for your deck and battle it out between 2 to 4 players in various game modes! The most important card in your deck is your champion legend. This is the card you build your deck around—it determines your options for the chosen champion who starts faceup on the board and who you’ll send to fight for you, and it defines the domains (colors) of your deck’s cards.
Your legend and your chosen champion define your strategy. Maybe your plan is quick strikes, maybe it’s to build up an unstoppable huge army, or maybe it’s to use one incredibly powerful and mobile fighter. You’ll have additional units (and other champion units) to send to fight, spells to help them win, and even gear to empower your team.
