Red Bull Double DON!! Event Official Gameplay Rules
o Your DON!! Deck will now include 9 standard DON!! Cards and 1 Double DON!! Card for a total of 10 total DON!! cards
▪ Standard DON!! cards give +1000 power during that player’s turn when given to a character or leader
• A Leader or Character with 5000 base power who is given a standard DON!! card would have a power of 6000 (6-5-5-2)
▪ Double DON!! cards give +2000 power during that player’s turn when given to a character or leader
• A Leader or Character with 5000 base power who is given a Double DON!! card would have a power of 7000
▪ The Double DON!! card must be sleeved in such a way that further distinguishes it from the rest of your DON!! cards such as being a different color from the other 9 DON!! cards
o Any effect which would affect a standard DON!! card will also affect a Double DON!! card. For example:
▪ In the event that an effect is used which returns DON!! to the DON!! Deck, any DON!! cards may still be selected, including a Double DON!!
▪ An effect which attaches a rested DON!! card may attach a rested Double DON!! card
▪ An effect which prevents a DON!! card from becoming Active during the Refresh Phase will also prevent a Double DON!! card from becoming Active during the Refresh Phase
o When being used to pay a card’s cost or meet a condition, a Double DON!! does not provide any additional
benefit. For example:
▪ A player is unable to play a 3 cost character by resting 1 standard DON!! and 1 Double DON!!
▪ A character with an effect which has the condition of [DON!! X2] will not have its condition satisfied by giving it a single Double DON!! card
▪ Returning a Double DON!! card to the DON!! Deck to pay for an effect which has a cost of DON!!
-4 will not be satisfied by returning 1 Double DON!! card and 2 standard DON!! card
o The Double DON!! card will be placed into the Double DON!! zone
▪ The Double DON!! zone exists within the cost area but must be clearly identifiable at a glance
▪ No standard DON!! cards may be placed in the cost area
o Once a Double DON!! card becomes given to a character or leader, the controlling player will always clearly
state that it is a Double DON!! that is attached to prevent any communication errors between players
o The Double DON!! card will always be the first DON!! placed from the DON!! Deck into the cost area
o Only an official Double DON!! card may be used for a Double DON!!
▪ Players may not use proxies, replacements, or substitute
