Join us at Gnome Games Appleton North for our Learn to Play Catan demo event!
On Friday, May 22nd from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, participate in a guided learn to play session for Catan! Enjoy this award-winning classic as you collect resources, build settlements, and dominate the island of Catan! A friendly Gnome on staff is available to teach the game, and we handle set-up and take-down. Anyone that participates receives a special Catan – Get Together expansion pack just for playing!
Entry is free! Just come on in, take a seat, and learn to play!
What is Catan?
In Catan, players build up the island by managing their resources to build settlements, roads, and cities. Roll dice each turn to determine which resources the island gives you, spend resources to build up your territory, build up your army, and more! Tiles are placed randomly together each game, ensuring tons of replay value and varying opportunities. Earn points from your settlements and cities, from development cards that grant points based on certain objectives, and for the longest road or largest army!

These decks keep newer players in mind and emphasize easy to read and understandable mechanics.
Our entry for this event is the purchase of two Jumpstart Booster Packs! Otherwise, no experience needed. This event aims solely at teaching you how to play Magic the Gathering!
