Learn to Play Magic the Gathering with Gnome Games! Monday, June 16th at 5pm, one of the Gnomes will be helping new players learn to play Magic the Gathering.
Have you been wanting to learn? Have a friend, co-worker, or family member who has been curious about the game? This is a great chance to learn to play with the Gnome and Magic community!
Each new player will be given a Welcome Deck of one of the five colors of Magic. You’ll also get a pocket reference card that helps explain some of the terms and timing for Magic the Gathering.

After getting a chance to learn the basics of the game you’ll get a chance to play a game, as well as make a Wizard’s account if you don’t have one already.
After playing, Gnome and Wizards has a few promos as a thanks for joining the community of Magic the Gathering!

Gnome Games will be hosting the Final Fantasy Magic the Gathering Prerelease on Monday, June 9th at 12pm!
This event will have limited seating, so contact the store ahead of time if you’d like to secure a seat!
This event will consist of a chance to build a 40 card minimum deck out of the cards from your prerelease kit, plus basic lands that Gnome Games will provide. Afterwards we’ll play 3 rounds of Magic! Each round you win, win’s you a pack of the latest set!! Entry is $50 + tax.

What’s a Free RPG Day?
We celebrate role-playing games (RPG) annually by bringing in and sharing a number of different RPGs with the Gnome Community each Free RPG Day!
Many of the games and free items are of limited supply, so please watch for what limits are posted on the day.
We’ll be running a few games throughout the day as well, to help players try out some of the games that are there!
At 11 am one of our GMs will be running Arzium from Red Raven Games. The Arzium Roleplaying Game opens up the World of Arzium®: a vast land filled with mysteries, magic, and forgotten technology.
At 12pm one of our GMs will be running Pathfinder 2nd Edition’s “The Scourge of Sheerleaf.” The village of Sheerleaf lives under the monstrous reign of a vicious adamantine dragon, unable to fend him off themselves. Four dragonblood adventurers come to Sheerleaf’s rescue, facing off against the terrible dragon!
At 2pm one of our GMs will be running Piaga 1348: Quickdeath from Need Games! You are Soldiers enlisted in an occult army under the control of the Church, called Ordo Mortis(Order of Death), which is fighting a secret war to defeat the Plague of the Resurrected and its terrible consequences.
At 4pm one of our GMs will be running Son of Oak’s Legend in the Mist adventure. In Legend in the Mist you play humble villagers or renowned explorers roaming across rolling hills and trudging through dense dark forests in a fantasy land of magical creatures and mysterious traditions lost to time. Buckle your scabbard and begin your quest!

2-on-2 Battle Rules
A summary of the main differences from other tournament styles.
・It’s a 2-player team battle.
・Each team member will battle once against members of the opposing team. The team will earn points determined by the results of these battles.
・The final ranking will be determined based on the points earned after all rounds have concluded. Teams will not be knocked out based on single battles.
・You cannot use Leader cards that have all the same colors within the same team.

It’s Chocobo Racing Season and each week you earn points towards additional prizes! Players earn 3 points for each Draft of Sealed event (excluding Prerelease) they attend. Players earn 1 point for each match they win in a qualifying event. Existing players that bring in a new player who signs up for a Wizards Account and participates in a qualifying event earn 1 point. When a player reaches 10 cumulative points, they earn a foil Chocobo art print. When a player reaches 20 cumulative points, they earn a Chocobo Pinfinity AR pin!*
