A Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) is a big, exciting 2-day event that takes place from Saturday to Sunday. Duelists from all over will attend to compete for exclusive prizes, earn invites to their next World Championship Qualifier, and spend the weekend Dueling, trading, and hanging out with hundreds of other Yu-Gi-Oh! fans.
In addition to the main Championship Series tournament, there are numerous Public Events, such as Win-A-Mat, Speed Duel, Attack of the Giant Card!!, and Regional Qualifier tournaments. Competitive or casual, there is something for everyone to do at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series weekend event.
A Duelist who wins a YCS VIP Qualifier earns the following benefits as a VIP:
- FREE entry to the YCS, including the booster packs of the current booster release normally purchased at entry, Pre-Registration Yu-Gi-Oh! Coin*, and any YCS-specific participation item if applicable.
- VIP registration. Let a line control staff member know you are a VIP and you will be escorted to the front of the line.
- Two-Round Bye at the YCS (VIPs start the tournament in Round 3 with a 2-0 record (2 Wins and 0 losses))
- Assigned seating throughout the course of the YCS Main Event in a VIP Section
- YCS VIP Field Center Card
*In order to be eligible for any online pre-registration items, VIPs must still pre-register online. If an item requires a Deck List to be submitted before pre-registration closes in order for it to be awarded, the VIP must submit a valid Deck List while pre-registering to be eligible.
Please note that all VIPs must still pre- register, submit a Deck List on time and be present on site during the Duelist Meeting. Their names will not appear on the first and second Round pairings.
