Hey web-heads and Planeswalkers! Get ready to swing into action because Gnome Games Green Bay West is hosting the most spectacular event of the year: the Magic: The Gathering Spiderman Prerelease! This is your chance to be among the first to crack open packs from the brand-new Universes Beyond set and build your deck with iconic heroes and villains from the Spider-Verse.

We’re going all-in on the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man theme, and you know what that means… FREE PIZZA! Just like the classic meme, we’re serving up some delicious slices to keep you fueled for battle. It’s the perfect way to make new friends and share a slice (and a spider-sense tingling play) with fellow fans.

Here are the details for this amazing event:

• Date: Saturday, September 20th
• Time: The action kicks off at 1:00 PM!
• Cost: $50 gets you in the door and ready to play.
• Format: We’ll be playing three rounds of Swiss-style Sealed Deck. You’ll receive a Prerelease Kit with six booster packs to build a 40-card deck and a foil-stamped rare or mythic card. We’ll provide all the basic lands you need.
• Prizing: After completing all three rounds, every player will receive an additional two booster packs as a reward for their heroic efforts!
• Food: Your friendly neighborhood Gnomes will be serving up free pizza for all participants.
• Why Prerelease? Prerelease is the perfect event for players of all skill levels, from seasoned veterans to newcomers just starting their journey. The Sealed format is all about opening new cards and getting creative with your deck building, so everyone is on a level playing field. It’s a casual and fun atmosphere, perfect for experiencing the set for the very first time!  This event is totally casual, so no worries about getting spoiled on the prize pool – everyone that plays all 3 rounds gets 2 additional boosters!
