DESCRIPTION:Join the Gnomes on Saturdays at 12:30pm for a Riftbound Nexus Tournament!\n3 rounds of play\, with Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack prizing! \nEach match will be best 2 of 3\, 60 minute round. \nThis is a casual Local Constructed tournament with Swiss rounds! \nNexus Night promo packs will be awarded based on availability! \nHere are some pertinent tournament rules to follow!\nYou may have a sideboard\, following official rules: \n\n601.1.c.1. A player’s sideboard can include 8 or fewer cards.\n403.3. Limits on copies of named cards as defined by competition format apply to the combination of Main Deck and sideboard.\n403.4. Players may use sideboard cards to modify their deck in between games of a match. Sideboard cards must be exchanged 1 for 1 with Main Deck cards.\n\n403.4.a. During that time\, a player may change their Chosen Champion to one from their sideboard or Main Deck that meets the deckbuilding rules of the competition format.\n403.4.b. In constructed formats\, a player may not change their Runes\, Legend\, or Battlefields at any point after deck registration.\n403.4.c. After the sideboarding process\, a player’s Main Deck must meet deck size requirements dictated by the competition format.\n\n\n403.5. Players may use those cards to modify their deck after the first game of a match.\n403.6. Players may count the cards in their opponents’ sideboards at any time.\n403.7. A player may look at their own sideboard at any time\, but must keep it distinguishable from other cards.\n403.8. A player’s deck and sideboard must be returned to their registered states before the first game of the next match.\n\nMatch \n\n404.1. A match of Riftbound consists of a series of games that are played until one side has won a predetermined number of games.\n404.2. Most matches of Riftbound are “best of 3\,” meaning the predetermined number of games to win is 2.\n404.3. Games that end in a draw do not count toward this goal.\n404.4. If the competition round ends (due to time limits) prior to any side achieving the goal\, the winner of the match is the one who has won the most games.\n404.5. If all sides have equal game wins\, the match is a draw.\n\n408. End of Match Procedure \n\n408.1. A match is complete once a match result is recorded by players or a tournament official.\n408.2. If the time limit for a competition round is reached before a winner is determined\, the player whose turn it is finishes their turn.\n\n408.2.a. After that player’s turn is complete\, three additional turns are played\, and then the match ends.\n408.2.b. If the game is incomplete at the end of the additional turns\, a player is declared the winner of the game if they have a point lead of two or more. Additional turns are untimed\, but at professional OPL a judge must be present to ensure a reasonable pace of play.\n408.2.d. DESCRIPTION:Fight with cookies in the Cookie Run world on Sundays at 1:00pm in our weekly Cookie Run Braverse: Brave League! \n$5 Entry Fee. \nIn this 2-player game\, players use a 60-cards deck composed of Cookie cards\, Item cards\, Trap cards and Stage cards to compete against their opponent. The card-pool includes arena-cards (weapons\, equipment\, etc.)\, and deck-cards that will start in the player’s deck. \nA card can only be included in a Player’s card-pool if the card’s class/talents are a subset of the hero’s class/talents (e.g. a Light talent card can only be included in a card-pool if the hero has a Light talent). Generic cards can be included in any card-pool. \nA card-pool may contain up to 3 copies of each unique card. A card is unique if it has a different name AND pitch value from another card. Decks can contain no more than 2 copies of any Equipment\, Food\, Legends\, Paint Brushes\, and Potions. They may contain no more than 1 copy of any Faerie\, Hero\, Petpet\, unique Map Piece\, or Villain and may contain any number of Codestones. You can have a Neopet Deck of at least 3 and up to 5 Neopets of different species (all 5 must have a different name)\, and a Rainbow Pool with up to 10 unique Rainbow Pool Neopets. Additional cards may have unique rules text having them start in your Rainbow Pool. These cards do not count towards the 10 Rainbow Pool Neopet limit. We’re hosting Thursday tournaments each week at 5:30pm for this new format\, with $5+tax entry. Like our Advanced Format tournaments it is Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack\, with OTS packs being up for grabs! \nBut what is Genesys?\nA new format of play and deck building that allows for more potential cards to be used! \nThe Genesys rules are simple:  \n\n\n\nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck\, Extra Deck\, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event. \n The standard point cap is 100\, but events can be run with any point cap\, or even a zero-point cap! Official Tournament Stores can set their own caps for their tournaments.\n\n\n\n\nGnome Games is using the standard point cap of 100 for these tournaments.
