The card-pool includes arena-cards (weapons\, equipment\, etc.)\, and deck-cards that will start in the player’s deck. \nA card can only be included in a Player’s card-pool if the card’s class/talents are a subset of the hero’s class/talents (e.g. a Light talent card can only be included in a card-pool if the hero has a Light talent). Generic cards can be included in any card-pool. \nA card-pool may contain up to 3 copies of each unique card. A card is unique if it has a different name AND pitch value from another card. (e.g. Sink Below (red) is unique compared to Sink Below (blue) because they have different pitch values) \nThese rules are subject to the effects of the hero or cards in the card-pool\, which may allow or limit what cards can be included. (e.g. Heroes with “Essence” allow certain talented cards to be included\, even if the hero doesn’t have the same talent. Decks can contain no more than 2 copies of any Equipment\, Food\, Legends\, Paint Brushes\, and Potions. They may contain no more than 1 copy of any Faerie\, Hero\, Petpet\, unique Map Piece\, or Villain and may contain any number of Codestones. You can have a Neopet Deck of at least 3 and up to 5 Neopets of different species (all 5 must have a different name)\, and a Rainbow Pool with up to 10 unique Rainbow Pool Neopets. Additional cards may have unique rules text having them start in your Rainbow Pool. These cards do not count towards the 10 Rainbow Pool Neopet limit. In the case of Pokémon\, people can participate in events before the set comes out. Each person receives a Build & Battle kit\, which consists of a random 40 card deck and 4 packs of the set. Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards. We’re hosting Thursday tournaments each week at 5:30pm for this new format\, with $5+tax entry. Like our Advanced Format tournaments it is Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack\, with OTS packs being up for grabs! \nBut what is Genesys?\nA new format of play and deck building that allows for more potential cards to be used! \nThe Genesys rules are simple:  \n\n\n\nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck\, Extra Deck\, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event. \n The standard point cap is 100\, but events can be run with any point cap\, or even a zero-point cap! Official Tournament Stores can set their own caps for their tournaments.\n\n\n\n\nGnome Games is using the standard point cap of 100 for these tournaments. DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for the Chaos over at Gnome Games Green Bay West!?\nThis Friday at 6pm is our Chaos Draft at Gnome Games Green Bay West! \n\n$30 entry\n6:00pm Start Time\n\nThis special Magic the Gathering event is a Chaos Draft! We’ll have up to 2 pods of 8\, with each pod having 24 different packs to choose from. Each pack is put face-up for all of the players to see at the start of the draft. Players in each pod are put in a random order\, 1-8. The first player in each pod will pick from their 24 possible packs\, then the second\, etc. When it gets to the 8th (or last) player\, that player will pick their first pack\, then pick their second pack; with the order continuing 7 – 1. After the first player picks their second pack\, they’ll pick their third and it will go through the player order one last time 2-8. Until everyone has their 3 packs! \nPlayers then do a 3 pack draft with those packs that they’ve picked\, build 40 card minimum decks and then will play 3 rounds! In the case of Pokémon\, people can participate in events before the set comes out. Each person receives a Build & Battle kit\, which consists of a random 40 card deck and 4 packs of the set. Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards. DESCRIPTION:Join the Gnomes on Saturdays at 12:30pm for a Riftbound Nexus Tournament!\n3 rounds of play\, with Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack prizing! \nEach match will be best 2 of 3\, 60 minute round. \nThis is a casual Local Constructed tournament with Swiss rounds! \nNexus Night promo packs will be awarded based on availability! \nHere are some pertinent tournament rules to follow!\nYou may have a sideboard\, following official rules: \n\n601.1.c.1. A player’s sideboard can include 8 or fewer cards.\n403.3. Limits on copies of named cards as defined by competition format apply to the combination of Main Deck and sideboard.\n403.4. Players may use sideboard cards to modify their deck in between games of a match. Sideboard cards must be exchanged 1 for 1 with Main Deck cards.\n\n403.4.a. During that time\, a player may change their Chosen Champion to one from their sideboard or Main Deck that meets the deckbuilding rules of the competition format.\n403.4.b. In constructed formats\, a player may not change their Runes\, Legend\, or Battlefields at any point after deck registration.\n403.4.c. After the sideboarding process\, a player’s Main Deck must meet deck size requirements dictated by the competition format.\n\n\n403.5. Players may use those cards to modify their deck after the first game of a match.\n403.6. Players may count the cards in their opponents’ sideboards at any time.\n403.7.
