Designed to integrate directly with the Final Girl Core Box, this terrifying installment plunges players into the claustrophobic corridors of an abandoned, desecrated monastery where an ancient demonic presence stalks from the dark. Featuring high-stakes hand management, push-your-luck dice rolling, and heart-pounding thematic decision-making, this expansion pushes the franchise's tension to chilling new heights.

In this Feature Film, the killer—a shapeshifting, nocturnal fiend known as The Umbral Fiend—manipulates ambient light, snuffs out torches, and ambushes victims directly from unlit rooms. Players take on the role of two determined new Final Girls, each equipped with bespoke ultimate abilities and signature survival cards, fighting to rescue terrified bystanders before the demon's wrath consumes the grounds. The sprawling monastery location introduces dynamic light-and-shadow mechanics, sanctified relic crafting, and brittle stained-glass escape routes, ensuring that every turn demands careful risk assessment and desperate improvisation.

Killer and Location Mechanics:

The Umbral Fiend: A lethal, shadow-stalking killer whose speed and damage dramatically increase when moving through unlit spaces, utilizing dynamic terror cards that extinguish room lights.

Desecrated Monastery Grounds: A modular board layout featuring light and dark zone states, requiring players to maintain lantern fuel or restore holy braziers to strip away the killer's invulnerabilities.

Sanctified Relic Crafting: Search crumbling altars and relic vaults to assemble blessed artifacts, consecrated weapons, and wards capable of repelling demonic influence.

New Final Girls: Play as two distinct survivors with custom health pools, unique setup abilities, and game-changing unlocked final powers tailored for navigating the dark.

Box Contents:

1 Magnetic Feature Film Box (Converts into Killer and Location Boards)

2 Final Girl Character Cards and Wooden Final Girl Meeples

1 Killer Board and Wooden Killer Meeple

24+ Item Cards (Weapons, Holy Relics, Flashlights, and Holy Water)

16 Terror Cards and 8 Special Setup Cards

10 Location Event Cards and Dynamic Light/Shadow Zone Tokens

Rule and Scenario Companion Booklet

Book Information:

Publisher: Van Ryder Games

Game System: Final Girl (Requires Final Girl Core Box to Play)

Player Count: 1 Player (Solo)

Age Range: 14+

Primary Genre: Solo Survival Horror / Hand Management & Dice Rolling Board Game

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0715/9080/5791/files/final-girl-solo-board-game-a-demon-in-the-shaodws-box-display.jpg?v=1791902604
