Designed to inject fresh tactical variety into your table battles, the expansion introduces two new playable characters along with extra map tiles that officially expand player capacity up to 6 players. The primary gameplay objective remains the same—survive, gather resources, learn spells, and unlock your powerful Shadow Form—while leveraging brand-new environmental and tactical advantages.

The primary mechanical highlight is the introduction of Freeze and Stun status effects managed through new double-sided tokens, alongside 15 main deck cards, 4 counterspells, and 4 companion cards that add disruptive control elements to combat. Designed for players aged 14 and up who already own the base game, sessions expand smoothly while retaining the fast-paced 30-to-60-minute duration. To dominate the icy arena, you must master the new status mechanics and control the expanded board layout before your rivals strike.

Game Specs at a Glance:
Age Range: 14+ Years
Publisher: TeeTurtle / Unstable Games
Play Time: 30-60 Minutes
Player Count: 1-6 Players
Complexity: Medium (Arena Combat, Dice Rolling, Hand Management, Player Elimination)
Requirements: Requires the Casting Shadows base game

What's in the Box?

2 Additional Player Boards and Meeples

3 New Hex Tiles

34 Total Cards

10 Double-Sided Status Tokens

1 Rulebook

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0715/9080/5791/files/casting-shadows-the-ice-storm-expansion-front-box-display.jpg?v=1792079280
