Delve deeper into the world of Root with Root: The Underworld Expansion! Two new factions enter the fray: the Underground Duchy, and the Corvid Conspiracy. The Duchy aims to lead a righteous expedition to the Woodland, in order to bring order to the chaos above ground. The Corvid Conspiracy focuses on sabotage and terror as they use cunning and trickery to hold the Woodland hostage. The double-sided board has the Mountain Map on one side, which has blocked routes and a narrow mountain pass. On the other side is the Lake Map, where players can whisk themselves clear across the map by travelling on the ferry. And maybe you’ll meet a new friend along the way…
