The Rivals For Catan – Age of Darkness card game expansion includes three new theme sets. These new theme sets add more variety to the game. “The Era of Intrigue” introduces religious dispute, churches, temples, and the confrontation between followers of new and old beliefs. “The Era of Merchant Princes” has harbors and maritime trade monopolies to help players dominate the trade market. Finally, “The Era of Barbarians” has barbarians attacking the city, so players must use castles and fortresses to hold them off! In addition, the “Tournament Game” is introduced. Tournament Game is where each player assembles their own deck! This expansion offers an incredible amount of new content.
