If you haven’t received one by the end of the event\, you get one just for participating! \nWeekly tournaments are a great way to hang out\, test out new decks\, chat about Yu-Gi-Oh!\, and more! Our entry fee is $5. Don’t have a deck? Check out our structure decks for sale in store! They offer great ways to pick up and learn the game\, while highlighting iconic archetypes and characters from the franchise. \nWhat is Yu-Gi-Oh?\nIn Yu-Gi-Oh!\, two players Duel each other using a variety of Monster\, Spell\, and Trap Cards to defeat their opponent’s monsters and be the first to drop the other’s Life Points to 0. Players draw cards from their respective decks and take turns playing cards onto “the field”. Each player uses a deck containing forty to sixty cards\, and an optional “extra deck” of up to fifteen cards. In Dungeons & Dragons\, players will take on the role of their very own character and act out all of their movements and conversations themselves. Often times these actions will lead into checks the player has to make\, where they will roll dice and add some character statistics together to see how well they do! Open up a prerelease kit\, craft your own deck\, and play in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament against other players! Players have 50 minutes to build their decks. Each round is 60 minutes\, best of 3.  Each round won awards players with an additional Godzilla: Reign of Kaiju booster! \nPlayers must register for the event on the UniVersus Gaming Network (UGN). Our event is here! Entry is $30. \nHow does a Prerelease work for UniVersus?\nEach Player is provided with six booster packs. Players then open their booster packs and use them to construct a 40 card minimum deck plus character card. Symbol restrictions are ignored; a Player may play any card from the provided booster packs regardless of their chosen character’s symbols. We provide pre-made character sheets! Entry is $10. \nWhat is Dungeons & Dragons?\nDungeons & Dragons is a classic tabletop role-playing game that has been around since 1974! Throughout the years it has developed and grown into a beloved franchise of not just rulebooks\, but novels\, video games\, and even popular movies! In Dungeons & Dragons\, players will take on the role of their very own character and act out all of their movements and conversations themselves. Often times these actions will lead into checks the player has to make\, where they will roll dice and add some character statistics together to see how well they do! Both success and failure come together to make these games happen\, so be ready for anything! \nAn important part to playing Dungeons & Dragons is having a story teller\, lovingly labeled as the Dungeon Master (DM)! The DM will run the campaign for players and dictate how the story flows as the characters progress. They can use preconstructed campaigns referred to as modules\, or craft their very own stories from scratch! Either way\, the DM usually has a lot of planning to do to make things flow well.
