It’s a Gnome Games Commander Party and we’re celebrating Duskmourn! On October 7th at 6pm we’re inviting players to enjoy the latest Commander Party!
Everyone will get a promo card for playing, until we run out of ones to give!
At Duskmourn: House of Horror Commander Party, players will explore a haunted house, spending mana to unlock new rooms that grant different effects to the players and the game. Will they make it out alive? Who will be the last one standing? Players will have to persist if they want to survive the house of ever-shifting horrors!

Trick or Treat!
A Duskmourn: House of Horror Sealed event with a treat! 4 packs of Duskmourn Play Boosters + 2 random packs of draft, play, collector, or mystery boosters!
This will be Friday, October 25th at 6pm and will be a $35 event! We’ll have a limit of 24 players for this event.
Special promos/emblems will be given out at the event as well! Make sure you have your Wizard’s Account ready!
With their goodie bags in hand, players will then create a 40-card deck from the contents of the boosters and begin facing off in one-on-one matches with other participants! All players will begin the game with the following emblem, found in their bags: “Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, choose one: Trick – create a treasure token. Treat – create a food token.”
All promos are available while supplies last; limit 1 Trick event sign-up per customer. Random Boosters may be Play, Draft, Collector, or Mystery. Players must register for the event using a Wizards Account to receive a Trick Event Goodie Bag.

We’ll be hosting our first Duskmourn Haunted Open House Event on Friday November 1st starting at 3:00pm! This Open house event is special however, as it marks the return of Welcome Decks! Its never been easier to get into Magic! New players will be able to come to the Open House event and be taught how to play Magic, given a Welcome Deck free of charge, and get a unique promo card! All while playing with other Magic players and learning more about the game!

For the brave and foolhardy alike we’ll be hosting a special Commander Party Event for the spookiest Magic Set of the year! Participants will be privy to a new Commander Party Game mode! Where players will explore the rooms of the most Haunted of houses, experiencing game altering effects and scares alike! Explore haunting vistas like the Forbidden Library, Ritual Chamber, and even the Masters Chamber!

Duskmourn Special Feature Tuesday at Gnome Games Green Bay West
The cards might be scary, but it’s a fun scary! The Gnomes invite you to our special midweek Duskmourn prerelease! The event is Tuesday, September 24th at 5:30 pm.
The Prerelease will be $40 and each player will be given an Duskmourn Prerelease Kit. Out of the packs from the kits plus basic land we provide, each player makes a 40 card minimum deck! After a 50 minute deck-building period, we’ll play 3 rounds of Win-A-Match, Win-A-Pack! The packs being won are the new Play Boosters of Duskmourn! Each match is best of 3 game over a 50 minute time period.
Bring a new player to the Prerelease event and both you and they will get a promo card for growing the game!

Like: “The House’s ever-shifting nature tends to defy organization, but one does perceive individual rooms as one explores. Some of them feel familiar, like ones you’d have in your own house. Others … less so. Room is a new enchantment subtype found on a new spin on split cards.
That’s right, split permanent cards. Each Room card has two halves. Each half is called a door. As you cast one of these cards, you pick one of its halves; that is, you pick one door to unlock. The abilities of that half apply. If it has an ability that triggers “when you unlock this door,” it will trigger when the Room enters. If it has other triggered abilities, those will trigger as appropriate. Static abilities of that half will apply, and so on. Ignore everything about the half you didn’t cast for now. That door is still locked.”
