Gnome Games Warehouse Associate
A Gnome Games Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to Gnome Games policies to include receiving vouchers, inventory levels and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto racks, transferring to tubs or boxes, organizing incoming stock, packing and processing outgoing shipments.
Additional duties in the Gnome Games warehouse include sorting, pricing, storing and listing products online, posting product information on social media, and editing online product information. All staff must become fluent in utilizing Quickbooks Point of Sale accurately for inventory control. Select warehouse staff are trained in multiple online platforms including Amazon and other online sales platforms, social media, and our own proprietary online store as part of professional development with additional compensation based on performance, aptitude and attitude.
Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience.
Candidate requirements
- Gnome Games Warehouse Associates are expected to:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally able to work in the USA
- Be able to pass a background and drug screening check
- Physically be able to lift and carry 40lbs, stand for up to 8hrs, climb stairs and ladder, reach, twist, bend, push, pull, squat, grasp, walk.
- Have corrected vision of at least 20/20
- Have a valid drivers license** and reliable transportation
- Be able to communicate politely and clearly both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt and change tasks as needed
- Clean and neat appearance
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Willingness to learn new technology and share knowledge with co-workers
- Common sense approach to problem solving
- Ability to prioritize self-directed work based on company standards and ever-changing logistical situations
- **Staff may be required to drive company van for local deliveries to stores
Compensations and Benefits
Hours are full time Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm with half hour lunch break. The Warehouse is climate controlled for everyone’s comfort. Gnome Games offers uniforms, employee discount, matched 401K, earned paid vacation. Occasional weekend shifts may be assigned during peak seasons.
Competitive wages are based upon experience ranging $11 – $14 per hour with increases based on performance and level of responsibility.
