February Pokemon League Challenge – Sun & Moon Season One

Gnome Games will host Pokemon League Challenges for Sun & Moon Season one at all of our stores in February.

Pokemon Trainers – it’s time for the Sun & Moon Season 1 Pokemon League Challenge Tournaments at Gnome Games! Sun & Moon will be legal for all of these events.

Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments are designed to provide players with small, entry-level events on a local scale. These events are a great way to get started in the world of Pokémon TCG tournament play.

In Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments, players in each of the three age divisions (Junior, Senior, and Masters) can earn Championship Points and work toward earning an invitation to the World Championships!

Pokemon League Challenge Details

Each of the Pokemon Sun & Moon Season 1 League Challenge events will be Standard Format and Sun & Moon will be legal. These will be 50 minute, best of 3 matches with no Top Cut for the events.

Players should bring a Standard Legal 60 card deck, a Pokemon Player ID (POP ID), a randomizer, damage and condition counters and a positive attitude. If you don’t have a POP ID we can get you one at the event for free!

Deck lists are required and will be collected when you register on site for the event.

Everyone gets a Pokemon Sun & Moon booster for playing and we’ll add one booster into the prize pool for every 2 players the event, and award these based on finish.

Championship Points are awarded to top players based on attendance.

Prizes are awarded to the top players in each of three age divisions. Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached, and must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points and prizes. All participants receive 1 Play! Point just for playing, and the top four players in each age division win a special promo card.
